Foundation - The Little Explorers 2010/11

Show and TellShow and TellThe theme for Show and Tell in terms 5 and 6 is "Hobbies & Interests".
Does your child participate in weekly dance, judo, swimming, football, Rainbows sessions that they can tell us about? Do they collect anything? Do they have a hobby/interest at home that they can talk about? Do they keep an unusual pet? Timetable here

We thought it might be useful to have a list of the WOW words introduced so far so here they are:

In recent Big Talk sessions we have looked at pictures of children and talked about what they might be feeling/thinking. We then encourage the children to tell us what they think in a full sentence...

Sept 6th:
PLEASE could you send a piece of fruit
(ensuring any containers used are named) for your child for the afternoon snack each day. You may be aware that the Government will provide one piece a day per child (which will be eaten during the morning session) but we feel that this is not enough. 2 pieces a day in school is a great start to your child's 5 a day! Thank you for your co operation.

Foundation - The Little Explorers 2010/11Sept 2nd:
