Foundation - The Little Explorers 2011/12

This week we have been playing with names and using alliteration ( the occurrence of the same sound at the beginning of adjacent or closely adjacent words. Eg: pink pig green gloves)
We have sent home a talk homework for you to try with your child. See how much fun you can have making up fun names!

Dear Parents/carers
Please could you spend some time tonight with your child looking at the numbers/digits on your front door, as well as the colour of the door. Tomorrow in class the children will be identifying digits that they have on their door as part of a class display.
It is not essential that the children know the number itself, just the digits in the number. For example one hundred and two has a 1, 0 and a 2.
