Extra-Curricular: Clubs and Trips
After School Clubs
There is a range of after school clubs and activities mainly for children aged 5 years and above. These take place on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and are run by a variety of coaches and instructors. Clubs usually run between 3.15 pm and 4.15 pm and include a drink and biscuit - the type of activity will vary from term to term. Each session costs a small amount and we run enrolment days where parents can sign their children up for 1 block of 10 weeks. Letters will be sent home informing parents of the activities at the beginning of the term.
Charging Policy and Trips
The staff and governors recognize the valuable contribution that a wide range of additional activities and visits make towards the pupil’s education and their social and personal development. The governing body asks parents for voluntary contributions towards the cost of such activities and visits (Education Reform Act 1988). If sufficient funds are not forthcoming, planned visits will be cancelled. Click here to download:Charging policy

For all trips, a voluntary contribution is requested from parents. We rely on payment to be able to carry out these trips and non-payment means we are unable to carry out further trips as we have no funds for such activities. Please refer to Educational Visits Policy for further information.
On any kind of outing the School provides 1 adult to accompany every 7 KS1 pupils and 1 adult for every 10 KS2 children.
