Witney Community Primary School
Headteacher's Welcome
Welcome to Witney Community Primary School

Witney Community Primary school dates back to 1938 and is housed in an interesting building in Witney. There are 3 classrooms for the Key Stage 1 and Foundation Stage children and 4 classrooms for Key Stage 2 pupils. Our annual intake of pupils into school is thirty per year, with a total in the main school of approximately 205 children.

The Foundation Stage class has 30 full-time places and has its own separate play area and toilets. We also have an art room, library, music room and ICT room in school and each classroom has further internet linked computers and the use of a laptop trolley.

We provide a secure and happy environment where the work is varied and challenging and every child and adult is valued. We set the children and ourselves high standards to enable every child to develop his or her potential to the full and become confident and passionate learners. We aim to develop the whole child.

All parents and carers are very welcome in school and we see home and school working together as very important for your child.

Our website will give you a flavour of our school's aims, the activities that the children are involved in, the achievements that we have gained and the wealth of memorable experiences that the children encounter.

We hope you find the information you want whilst looking through the site but please do contact us if you have any further questions and you are very welcome to come and have a look around anytime.
